Bryn Williams Mountaineering is an approved provider and course director for many Mountain Training's nationally recognised qualifications.



Mountain Training Qualifications

The nationally accredited qualifications train and assess people to look after other people in a variety of environments, whether that's leading a walk in the mountains, coaching in a climbing wall or teaching rock climbing on a single pitch crag. Bryn Williams Mountaineering is an approved course director and provider for many of Mountain Training's schemes.


Lowland Leader

Two day training. two day assessment. For leading groups in countryside and woodland terrain.

Hill & Moorland Leader

Three day training, three day assessment. For leading groups on open hill and moorland terrain.

Mountain Leader

Six day training, five day assessment. For leading groups in mountain terrain in non-winter conditions.

Rock Climbing Instructor

Three day training, two day assessment. For instructing climbing on single pitch crags and climbing walls.

Climbing Wall Instructor

Two day training, one day assessment. For instructing climbing on indoor walls and towers.

One day training, one day assessment. For instructing lead climbing indoors.

Assessment Preperation

Further training specifically tailored towards upcoming assessment course.

Re-assessment

Specific re-assessment service for candidates who have recived a deferred result.
