Expert Witness/ Opinion
Bryn Williams has worked extensively in the field of hill walking, rock climbing and mountaineering activities over the last 20 years and during this time has provided expert advice and guidance for a range of local and national organistions.
Bryn holds Mountain Training's highest qualification, the Mountaineering Instructor Certificate and is an approved course provider who delivers leadership training and assessment for the following nationally accredited qualifications:
- Lowland Leader
- Hill and Moorland Leader
- Mountain Leader
- Climbing Wall Instructor
- Climbing Wall Development Instructor
- Rock Climbing Instructor
- Rock Climbing Development Instructor
Between 2009-2018 Bryn was the Executive Officer for Mountain Training Cymru and was also the deputy Officer to Mountain Training UK's CEO.
Bryn also worked as a Mountaineering Instructor for Sport England National Mountain Centre, Plas y Brenin.
Bryn is an active member for the UK's busiest Mountain Rescue Team (Llanberis Mountain Rescue Team) and regularly delivers training events for the team members and also has served as a member of the committee and acted as press officer. Additionally Bryn has also contributed towards numerous national and local mountain safety initiatives and been involved in the reviewing of mountain incidents.
Bryn's expertise comes from extensive personal and leadership experience within the hill walking, rock climbing and mountaineering activities over a period spanning 20+ years.
