Lead Rock Climbing
This course is for climbers who may have little or no lead climbing experience and could do with some guidance to help improve their technical skills and climbing technique.

You can choose between 1 - 5 days depending on how much you would like to get out of your time with us. We teach lead climbing on multi-pitch ground to allow you lots of climbing and repetition of new skills.
Course summary
- Equipment selection for leading climbs.
- Choosing routes from a guidebook.
- Practical days climbing (very little theory).
- Belaying skills, lowering, holding slips, belaying a lead climber, belaying a second climber.
- Abseiling safety.
- Placing anchors and building belays.
- Multi-pitch lead climbing change overs.
- Dealing with common problems.
