Rock Climbing Instructor

Mountain Leader

Running the Rock Climbing Instructor courses is one of Bryn's work highlights. He's been a rock climber since he was 12 years old and the Rock Climbing Instructor (formerly the Single Pitch Award) was his first mountain-based qualification Bryn gained and he has been introducing and improving climbers and helping develop instructors ever since.

This qualification is all about supervising safe climbing and abseiling sessions on single pitch crags and artificial structures. Whether you're a parent, a volunteer or an outdoor centre instructor, the Rock Climbing Instructor qualification trains and assesses experienced rock climbers to instruct climbing.
